Job Description:

Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel and Country Club is a Jacobean-style manor house set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside in Ware Hertfordshire. Wood-panelled libraries and cosy fireplaces coexist with modern amenities, renovated event spaces and discerning service. We are looking for a motivated manager to lead and guide our Hotel Cleanliness Team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and guide the Hotel Cleanliness Team
  • Responsible for the daily shift operations of Housekeeping
  • Direct and work with associates to ensure property guestrooms, public spaces and associate areas are clean and well maintained
  • Complete inspections and hold people accountable for corrective action
  • Assist in ensuring guest and associate satisfaction, while maintaining the operating budget
  • Oversee Housekeeping in a complex hotel operation in a grade 2 listed building

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience in the housekeeping or related professional area, large hotel/chain hotel work experience required
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
