The Tullamore Court Hotel is looking for an ambitious Executive Head Chef who is ready to take the next step in their culinary leadership career. Job Responsibility
Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing kitchen brigade
Creating seasonal and innovative menus across multiple food outlets
Delivering exceptional food quality and presentation
Managing food cost, GP, stock control, and kitchen budgets
Driving consistency, efficiency, and service excellence
Overseeing HACCP compliance and food safety standards
Planning and executing weddings, conferences, banquets, and special events
Recruiting, training, and developing future culinary talent
Building a positive, collaborative, and high-performance kitchen culture
Working alongside senior management to achieve business objectives
Requirements
Previous experience as a Head Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Executive Head Chef in a quality hotel or high-volume hospitality environment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Passion for developing and mentoring teams
Experience managing kitchen financial performance and food costs
Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety legislation
Strong organisational and planning abilities
Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining exceptional standards
Creativity, innovation, and passion for food
Nice to have
Experience in hotel operations including weddings, conferences, and banqueting
Menu development experience
Strong commercial awareness
Experience leading change and continuous improvement initiatives
