We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef to oversee all culinary operations within the hotel. This is a full-time, senior leadership position reporting to the General Manager, with responsibility for maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and creativity across multiple outlets.
Job Responsibility
Lead and manage the kitchen brigade across restaurants, bars, banqueting, and in-room dining
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and taste
Develop innovative, seasonal menus aligned with the hotel's brand and guest preferences
Manage food cost, stock control, purchasing, and supplier relationships
Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health and hygiene standards
Recruit, train, mentor, and performance-manage kitchen team members
Collaborate closely with the management team on events, promotions, and guest experience initiatives
Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, sustainability, and culinary excellence
Requirements
Previous experience as a Senior Chef, ideally at Executive Sous Chef or Head Chef level, within a high-volume 4-star or 5-star environment
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
Proven experience in menu development, cost control, and kitchen management
A passion for quality, creativity, and delivering a world-class guest experience
Excellent knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and industry best practices
Nice to have
Experience leading multi-outlet hotel culinary operations
Formal culinary qualifications or advanced training
Experience within a hotel group or similar brand-led environment
