Searching someone to lead Wesley Mission’s People & Culture strategy, aligning workforce culture, capability, leadership and people technologies to support organisational performance and strategic priorities.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead Wesley Mission's People & Culture strategy aligning workforce culture, capability, leadership and people technologies to support organisational performance and strategic priorities
  • oversee strategy, operations and service delivery across workforce planning, organisational development, talent, employee relations, volunteering, WHS, payroll and people technologies and systems
  • deliver a significant people systems transformation embedding scalable technology, streamlined processes and data-led insights
  • act as a trusted advisor to the MD, Community Services Leadership Team and CEO and Superintendent
  • contribute to organisational design, workforce strategy, engagement, safety and culture
  • maintain strong governance across compliance, risk and employment relations
  • balance strategic leadership with execution

Requirements

  • Senior People & Culture leader with proven experience operating at scale in complex, service-led organisations
  • deep expertise across the full employee and volunteer lifecycle including workforce strategy, organisational design, employee relations and culture transformation
  • ideally has delivered impact in multi-site environments such as community services, health, government or education
  • strong track record of leading enterprise-wide transformation including people systems implementation, workforce analytics and process improvement
  • commercial and pragmatic, translates strategy into clear executable people initiatives using data to drive performance, manage risk and ensure compliance
  • leads high-performing teams and partners effectively with executives and Boards
  • comfortable navigating complexity and driving change in ambiguous environments

  • Manage the financial issues for the People & Culture budget including benefits, labor & salary reports and plan cost effective events within the People & Culture budget guidelines

  • Administer and train employees on behalf of People & Culture including but not limited to discipline, benefits, core and culture standards
