Job Description

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for planning and executing exceptional events that wow our guests. Working in the heart of the city, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and attention to detail in delivering unforgettable experiences.

Job Responsibility

  • Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and expectations, and translate this into detailed event plans
  • Coordinate all event logistics, including venue setup, catering, entertainment, and audiovisual requirements
  • Manage event budgets and ensure events are delivered within agreed financial parameters
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and venues to deliver high-quality events
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients throughout the event planning and delivery process
  • Supervise and lead a team of events staff to ensure seamless event execution
  • Monitor and report on event performance, making recommendations for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in event management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and manage supplier relationships
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in using event management software and MS Office suite

Nice to have

Tertiary qualification in event management, hospitality or a related discipline is desirable
