Job Description:

Executive Director of Strategic Planning to help drive the organization's success by addressing complex business challenges, identifying growth opportunities, enhancing thought leadership, and leading transformational initiatives. This role leads the 'Office of International' and is responsible for developing and communicating strategic plans, while ensuring operational alignment with Aetna International's go-to-market strategy.

Job Responsibility:

Partner with VP of International and senior leadership team to develop and cascade Aetna International strategy
Develop, implement and maintain governance structure
Prioritize and execute cross-functional initiatives
Identify issues/gaps in processes or organization
Lead marketing, product and sales enablement teams
Provide guidance to external/internal partners and cross-functional team members
Champion thought leadership, innovation, and change management

Requirements:

10+ years leadership experience
Technical/functional expertise in management consulting, strategy execution, financial analysis, marketing, product, and/or project management
Healthcare experience required
Ability to distill complex ideas into simpler frameworks
Experience implementing enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional large-scale initiatives
Strong business and financial acumen
Comprehensive understanding of internal and external environmental influences on the business
Demonstrated emotional intelligence
Effective communicator with ability to influence at all levels
Demonstrated relationship management skills at senior levels
Strong leadership skills
Ability to travel up to 20%
Ability to work Hybrid Model in Hartford office or remote
