Job Description:

CVS Health is seeking a visionary Executive Director to lead Infrastructure Solution Engineering. The role involves designing infrastructure solutions, integrating AI/ML capabilities, managing cloud platforms, and building a high-performing team. Responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders, developing reusable solutions, and driving strategy.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategy for Infrastructure Solution Engineering
Define, prioritize, and manage a portfolio of reusable infrastructure solutions and services
Proactively engage with business stakeholders to understand their pain points and strategic initiatives
Establish and refine a service provider model ensuring clear service catalogs, SLAs, and effective communication channels
Drive the strategic integration of AI and Machine Learning infrastructure solutions
Architect and engineer cloud-native infrastructure solutions
Lead the design and development of standardized and customizable infrastructure solutions
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of engineers and architects
Effectively communicate and collaborate with senior leadership
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and trends
Manage the budget and resources for the team effectively

Requirements:

15+ years of overall experience in IT or related field
12+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, architecture, and/or cloud computing
Proven experience leading and managing high-performing technical teams
Deep and demonstrable understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS) and their core services
Significant experience architecting and implementing infrastructure solutions with a strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and security
Strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning principles and the underlying infrastructure requirements for supporting AI/ML workloads (e.g., GPU compute, data pipelines, model deployment)
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proven ability to think strategically and execute tactically
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks

Nice to have:

Experience in a highly regulated industry, such as healthcare or finance
Experience with product management methodologies and tools
Familiarity with data science platforms and tools
Certifications in relevant cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect)
Experience with agile development methodologies
