Job Description

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is seeking a seasoned and strategic finance leader to serve as Executive Director, Global Financial Operations & Compliance. The ideal candidate will come with ad-tech (or similar) industry experience. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role sits at the center of our global growth strategy—driving operational excellence, financial integrity, and scalable governance across our global footprint. The Executive Director, FreeWheel Global Financial Operations & Compliance is responsible for setting the strategy, governance and execution of FreeWheel’s Global Financial Operations & Compliance function. Creates financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems. Executes accurate and timely billing for all FreeWheel services. Develops strategy to control potential credit losses and maximize collections. Ensures compliance with tax, regulatory, statutory and company requirements for several international subsidiaries. Demonstrates leadership versatility.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensures accurate and timely client invoicing and provides critical data for revenue and cost of services reporting
  • Manages the development of business strategy to attempt to control potential credit losses and works with leadership to execute the business strategy
  • Ensures FreeWheel is adequately protected against credit loss as it expands relationships with Agency Hold Co and Independent Agency clients
  • Analyzes credit exposure (aging) reports and provides forecasts related to bad debt and write-offs
  • Ensures compliance to all Federal, State and Country level invoicing, tax and reporting requirements
  • Leads FreeWheel response to international tax and statutory audits
  • Manages international cash movement among subsidiaries in accordance with Comcast policies and objectives
  • Manages transfer pricing agreements among legal entities
  • Owns global financial controls and governance, ensuring compliance with SOX, Comcast internal control standards, and enterprise risk management requirements
  • Oversees usage of outside collection agencies
  • Manages and motivates a global team, overseeing career growth and maximizing performance
  • Demonstrates sound business judgment, financial acumen and leadership
