Job Description:

The Executive Director, Chief of Advanced Practice, provides strategic direction, executive leadership, and organizational oversight for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) across all designated academic divisions. This role is accountable for the growth, development, and advancement of APP practice in inpatient and outpatient settings, serving as the system-wide leader for APPs. The Executive Director, Chief of Advanced Practice drives operational and performance improvement initiatives while fostering collaboration with physicians, nursing, and administrative leaders to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives. The Chief of Advanced Practice collaborates with CHLA and CHLAMG leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and PA, NP, CRNA, Practice acts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides strategic direction, executive leadership, and organizational oversight for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) across all designated academic divisions
  • Accountable for the growth, development, and advancement of APP practice in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Serves as the system-wide leader for APPs

Requirements:

  • Advanced Practice Professional (PA or NP)
  • 10+ years Advanced Practice experience
  • 5+ years progressive management experience
  • Experience working in academic environment
  • Active licensure as an APRN, PA, or CRNA
  • Valid and current professional certification
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or relevant health related field from an accredited school
  • BLS Certified
