Job Description:

The Executive Director will be responsible for overall actuarial support for Aetna Medicaid Central and Southwest fully insured markets with over $8B annual revenue, and pricing analytics support for all Aetna Medicaid markets. Leads rate advocacy with external State and MCO partners to protect Aetna Medicaid’s financial interest and partners with internal business partners to drive profitable growth. Provides actuarial support to protect the financial integrity of Medicaid Central and Southwest Divisions' risk markets and oversees pricing and behavioral health analytics support for all Medicaid markets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leads rate advocacy with external State and MCO partners to protect Aetna Medicaid’s financial interest
  • Partners with internal business partners to drive profitable growth
  • Provides actuarial support to protect the financial integrity of Medicaid Central and Southwest Divisions’ risk markets
  • Leads regional actuarial team in rates setting advocacy
  • Financial expectation management with internal business partners
  • Center of excellence pricing and behavioral health analytics support for all Medicaid markets

Requirements:

  • ASA and MAAA credentials
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
  • Adept at business intelligence
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Mastery of problem solving and decision making skills
  • Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
