Executive Desk Guard

• Patrolling all areas of property and parking lots, security doors
• Ensuring the safety of all guests, employees, and contract labor while on the premises
• Securing property during move in/out of trade shows, conventions, or events
• Working overnight at times
• Availability for responding to urgent calls at any hour of the day or night
• Answering staff calls from home
• Staffing each shift on the Executive Desk
• Completing incident reports accurately and completely
• Completing monthly desk staff schedules and posting in all areas assigned in a timely manner
• Handling any call outs for the desk staff which includes finding coverage while in or out of the building
• Securing property
• Locking and unlocking facility doors
• Conducting routine property walks
• Responding to emergency situations
• Interacting with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees
• Securing the safety of all individuals on premises
• Appropriately dealing with “unruly” people
• Working independently
• Judging and assessing situations for immediate response

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Security experience preferred
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong customer service skills
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff including management
• Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
• Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as needed
• Must have professional appearance and attitude
• Must be at least 18 years old

Security experience preferred
