Job Description:

Accountable for overall success of daily kitchen operations. Exhibits culinary talents while leading staff and managing all food related functions. Works to improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance. Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure consistent, high quality product. Responsible for guiding and developing staff.

Job Responsibility:

Lead kitchen management team
Provide direction for daily operations
Ensure quality food production
Develop and implement purchasing guidelines
Establish performance goals and budget goals
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Develop menus and create decorative food displays
Provide exceptional customer service
Manage human resources including training and performance appraisals

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
6 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
Leadership and management skills
Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
Menu development expertise
Financial management skills
Customer service orientation
