Job Description

Management position. Responsible for developing and executing culinary solutions to meet customer needs and tastes. Offers a wide variety of culinary solutions to meet customer and client needs and tastes. Oversees and manages culinary operations to meet production, presentation, and service standards. Applies culinary techniques to food preparation and manages the final presentation and service of food.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure dining operations comply with Harvest Table’s Executional Framework
  • Coach and develop Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs
  • Ensure high safety and sanitation standards
  • Manage culinary team to ensure quality in final presentation of food
  • Train and manage culinary and kitchen employees
  • Plan and execute team meetings and daily huddles
  • Complete and maintain all staff records
  • Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Aggregate and communicate regional culinary and ingredient trends
  • Deliver on food and labor targets
  • Understand performance metrics, data, order, and inventory trends
  • Maintain focus on margin improvement
  • Ensure efficient execution and delivery of all food products per the daily menu
  • Maintain the integrity of Harvest Table’s standards
  • Maintain the highest quality of all food items

Requirements

  • At least 4 years’ experience
  • 1-3 years in a management role
  • 2 year Culinary Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • A strong value system, unquestioned integrity, and good listening skills
  • Excellent communication skills
