As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, ensuring that each dish exemplifies the quality and excellence that our brand represents.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement innovative and seasonal menus that reflect both local and global culinary trends
Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of culinary professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, taste, and consistency
Manage kitchen staff schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining labor costs
Monitor and control inventory, costs, and budget, optimizing profitability without compromising quality
Engage with guests to gather feedback and ensure an exceptional dining experience
Uphold rigorous hygiene and safety standards, complying with all health regulations
Work closely with the management team to achieve the strategic goals of The Sebastian Vail
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel environment
Exceptional culinary expertise with a passion for diverse cuisines and culinary techniques
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team
Excellent organizational and management skills, with attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanor
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Culinary degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred
