Job Responsibility:
Managing calendars, meetings, and correspondence for Chief & Council and the Executive Director
Preparing agendas, recording & transcribing meeting minutes, and tracking decisions
Coordinating travel, filing systems, and official communication
Acting as the liaison between departments, leadership, and community stakeholders
Supporting records management and special projects
Requirements:
Be able to do the job as described
Have prior experience supporting executive leadership in a political or Indigenous setting
Know how to record & transcribe formal meeting minutes with precision and confidentiality
Understand Indigenous governance structures or have a strong interest in learning
Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site work in Chase, BC
