Job Description

A fast-paced and growing organization in Iowa City is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to provide contract support to senior leadership. This role plays a critical part in ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly by managing schedules, coordinating communications, and supporting key administrative initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide high-level administrative support to executive leadership, including calendar management and meeting coordination
  • Manage complex scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reporting
  • Serve as a gatekeeper and liaison between executives, internal teams, and external partners
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports with a high level of accuracy and professionalism
  • Coordinate meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up on action items
  • Assist with project coordination and track deadlines to ensure timely completion
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Requirements

  • 3+ years of executive or senior-level administrative support experience
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment
