Our client a national nonprofit organization is seeking an Executive Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis with potential to go permanent in Arlington, Virginia.
Job Responsibility
Provide high-level executive support to the CEO and Chief of Staff, managing complex administrative and operational needs
Oversee and manage a demanding executive calendar, prioritizing meetings and communications
Serve as primary liaison to the Board of Directors, coordinating all meetings, materials, and communications
Plan and execute board meetings, executive meetings, and organizational events end-to-end
Support strategic initiatives and special projects, including research, reporting, and project coordination
Prepare confidential reports, presentations, and correspondence for senior leadership and stakeholders
Coordinate travel, expenses, and logistics for executive leadership
Maintain strict confidentiality while engaging with senior leaders, board members, and external partners
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of relevant experience
Strong experience managing complex calendars, board logistics, and executive operations
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to draft high-level materials independently
Advanced organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments
High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tools such as Concur and project management platforms
Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and manage competing priorities effectively
