Robert Half is partnering with a respected manufacturing company in Fort Wayne to hire an experienced Executive Assistant to support C‑suite leadership. This critical role requires exceptional professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to manage complex priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at supporting high-level executives with minimal direction.
Job Responsibility:
Provide high-level administrative support to C‑suite executives (CEO, CFO, COO, etc.)
Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
Prepare briefing materials, presentations, meeting agendas, and executive-level correspondence
Screen and prioritize incoming communications
draft responses when appropriate
Handle confidential information with absolute discretion
Coordinate board meetings, leadership team meetings, and off-site events
Record, summarize, and distribute minutes and action items
Act as a liaison between executives, internal teams, and external partners
Support communication flow and ensure timely follow-up on critical items
Assist with strategic projects, research, and data gathering for executive decision-making
Maintain trackers, dashboards, and project documentation
Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with manufacturing operations
Coordinate vendor relationships, contracts, and administrative workflows
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, purchase orders, and other documentation
Handle expense reports, budgeting support, and invoice processing
Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)
Ensure office supplies and resources are managed for executive needs
Requirements:
5+ years of experience supporting C‑suite or senior executives
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with discretion, tact, and professionalism
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate needs
