We’re looking for a proactive, highly organised, and adaptable Executive Assistant to support the UK Chief Risk Officer and the wider leadership team, including Head of Risk and Head of Compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic function, providing essential support and challenge to ensure the business meets it strategic objectives and delivers good customer outcomes in a safe and resilience manner. The role requires professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence. You’ll be a key enabler for the team, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the delivery of key initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Provide full diary and administration support to the CRO and leadership team
Manage the diary autonomously, discussing priorities every week
Organise meetings and manage potential conflicts flexibly
Other administration tasks like arranging travel and accommodation when required, managing expenses, external providers invoicing, etc.
Co-ordinate and minute internal and external meetings when needed
Prepare and distribute meeting packs and other meeting papers and presentations
Organise induction and onboarding for new joiners
Organisation of department training and department events (including regular team building activities)
Monitor and support performance management activities, including scheduling one-to-ones and appraisals
Collaborate with other EAs and PAs across the business to ensure alignment and consistency
Be prepared to challenge the status quo if needed and make suggestions for improvement
Liaise with recruitment partners to support hiring processes and candidate coordination
Assist with planning and delivery of team meetings, workshops, and social events, including budget tracking
Requirements:
Previous PA or administrative experience
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
Experienced at supporting and communicating with senior individuals and external stakeholders, always maintaining a professional manner
Proactive approach to administration – spotting issues / problems before they arise, and can anticipate opportunities to support the wider team
Able to identify issues quickly and come up with effective solutions
Flexibility to support the changing workload of the department and managers, and a willingness to work outside of core hours when necessary
High level of attention to detail and accuracy when producing work
Confidentiality and discretion
Nice to have:
Preparing reports and meeting materials
Proven experience supporting more than one senior leader within the business at one time
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
