We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Executive Assistant to support the VP of Sales at a manufacturing company based in Merton, Wisconsin. This contract-to-permanent position requires a high degree of organization, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. As a key contributor to the sales team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating smooth operations and enhancing customer experiences.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to inquiries regarding products and pricing from customers and sales representatives
Create and provide freight quotes tailored to customer needs
Monitor, track, and report on various sales activities and interests
Develop and oversee individualized agreements for customers regarding product accessories
Analyze sales trends and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making
Manage expense reports, including preparation and reconciliation
Schedule and coordinate sales meetings as well as multiple trade shows
Assist in preparing sales budgets and submitting job bids when required
Organize training sessions and oversee onboarding processes for new sales representatives
Foster positive relationships to ensure exceptional customer experiences
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience in an executive assistant or similar role
Proven skills in managing calendars and coordinating travel arrangements
Strong ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
Exceptional planning, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Familiarity with preparing reports and analyzing sales data
A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
