Job Description

The town of Leicester is seeking a full time Executive Assistant to the Town Administrator. This position is responsible for providing a variety of complex administrative, analytical, and professional duties including leading the daily office activities of the office, preparing agendas, packets and meeting minutes, licensing businesses, managing the town’s insurance, processing department payroll and invoices, managing department budgets and assisting with human resource and IT functions. Confidentiality is a must. This position occasionally requires attendance at evening meetings in absence of the Assistant Town Administrator/Town Administrator.

Requirements

  • Associate degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) and/or two to four years’ administrative experience, preferably in a municipal setting, required, or any equivalent combination of education and experience
