Job Description

The town of Hingham seeks applicants for the full time position of Executive Assistant to the Select Board to perform administrative functions for the Select Board and Town Administrator. Working under the general direction of the Office Manager, the employee's work includes processing licenses, researching information, preparing for and posting public hearings, preparing for Select Board meetings, attending and taking minutes at evening meetings, processing bills, and performing a variety of administrative and clerical functions.

  • Client Relations & Liaison: Act as a strategic gatekeeper and primary liaison for the Executive Office. Contribute to the company's reputation through professional, friendly, and respectful interactions with clients, board members, and investors
  • Meeting & Event Coordination: Plan and support executive-level meetings, leadership offsites, and client events. Attend select meetings to capture notes, identify follow-up items, and ensure deliverables are met
