Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and highly organised Personal / Executive Assistant to join our team on a 6-month fixed term contract, providing maternity cover. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this is a key role supporting the Group CEO, Group Board and Executive Leadership Team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You'll deliver comprehensive executive support, including diary management, travel coordination and board administration. You'll also support Group-wide travel and hospitality arrangements and work alongside Corporate Marketing & Communications to help deliver Group events. This role requires professionalism, discretion and exceptional attention to detail.

Job Responsibility

  • Handle sensitive commercial and personnel information with the highest level of confidentiality
  • Manage complex diaries, meetings, travel and accommodation (including international travel)
  • Prepare, collate and circulate Board and Executive meeting papers accurately and on time
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for staff, Board and Executive Leadership Team
  • Manage credit card and cash expenses for the Chairman, Board and ELT
  • Organise business events, committee meetings and Group hospitality, including catering
  • Support the preparation of presentations for key meetings and events
  • Manage CEO and Group travel invoicing through the Company ERP system
  • Act as delegate for CEO approvals on internal systems
  • Maintain effective filing and data retrieval systems
  • Ensure all internal and external communications present the organisation professionally
  • Carry out additional tasks as required by senior leadership

Requirements

  • At least three years' experience supporting senior executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A flexible, solutions-focused approach to work
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint
  • A customer-focused mindset and ability to act as a trusted advisor
  • A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to travel to Group sites as required, with access to your own transport
