Job Description:

This is a key role within a busy and high-performing directorate. You’ll be at the centre of it all managing day-to-day priorities, coordinating reporting, and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes. Working closely with the Executive Director and Water Services Leadership Team, you’ll help keep workflows moving, information flowing, and deadlines on track. Your ability to stay organised, think ahead, and build strong working relationships will make a real difference.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage calendars, emails, travel, and day-to-day priorities
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and Council/ELT papers
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and follow-ups
  • Support reporting requirements including KPIs, budgets, and planning cycles
  • Assist with LGOIMA responses and legislative reporting
  • Help coordinate complaints and correspondence
  • Build strong working relationships across Council and with external stakeholders
  • Look for ways to improve processes and keep things running smoothly

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting senior leaders in an EA or PA role
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Confidence preparing reports and coordinating meetings
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • A high level of discretion and professionalism
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and systems
