Job Responsibility
Working alongside the EVP in all areas of daily business: staff communication across all US offices, reporting, research, calendar management, travel arrangements, event coordination, and client communication
Acting as a liaison to the US Publishing team
Performing clerical duties, setting meetings, taking comprehensive notes, maintaining music and repertoire reports, weekly departmental report and the creation and organization of documents
Preparing, editing, and creating presentations and creative decks for potential and active clients
Handling confidential information
creation, implementation and organizing files, reports, and deals
Contributing to the planning/organizing of events such as business luncheons, studio visits, client dinners, staff meetings, and staff events
Arranging travel, accommodation, itineraries, and all correspondence related to domestic and international travel as needed
Preparing information and research for executive needs
Operating on a hybrid schedule, coming into the LA office to work in-person minimum 3 days per week, with additional in-person days as required by business needs
Requirements
Eagerness to learn and grow in the music publishing business
Must be comfortable and available working and scheduling across global time zones
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, MS Teams)
scheduling appointments/updating calendars a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to concentrate on and execute multiple initiatives/tasks concurrently
Profound understanding of how to eloquently handle the needs of artists, management and attorneys
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to be confidential and discreet
An enthusiastic approach towards innovative marketing ideas and concepts
Nice to have
Prior experience in the music or entertainment industry
Previous internship experience is welcomed
Proficient creative computer skills, including Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, GarageBand, iMovie)
Understanding of the music industry marketplace in terms of DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music etc.) as well as social media platform trends (Instagram, Tiktok etc.)
