Job Description

Yum! Brands is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the SVP & Corporate Controller, VP of Tax, and Sr. Director of Net Revenue Management. This role is critical to the effectiveness of the Finance leadership team and serves as a trusted partner in managing executive operations, public company reporting coordination, and department processes in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment. As an Executive Assistant, you will play important role in supporting Yum!’s financial reporting integrity and governance processes. From coordinating SEC filing logistics and Audit Committee materials to managing complex executive calendars and key Finance deadlines, this role helps ensure seamless execution of quarterly and annual reporting cycles. By anticipating needs, maintaining rigorous attention to detail, and enabling leaders to focus on strategic priorities, this role directly contributes to the effectiveness, credibility, and operational excellence of the Finance organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage complex calendars for the SVP Corporate Controller and VP Tax
  • assist with scheduling for Finance Directors as needed
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including quarterly close meetings and earnings-related discussions
  • Arrange travel and manage logistics for executives and occasionally for their direct reports
  • Prepare and submit monthly and ad hoc T&E reports
  • Professionally screen and prioritize communications and meeting requests
  • Manage department ticket allocation for Yum events across Control, Tax, Accounting Services, and Payroll
  • Draft and distribute department correspondence, reports, and presentations with strong attention to detail
  • Manage DocuSign routing and execution processes, including time-sensitive approvals related to quarterly and annual filings
  • Support department operations, including invoice processing, organizational chart maintenance, and internal announcements
  • Add/remove members to Kaplan/FMN and CCH/ARM subscription plans
  • Serve as back-up administrative support as needed
  • Coordinate logistics related to SEC filings, including 8-Ks (quarterly and as needed), 10-Qs (quarterly), 10-K (annual), and 11-K (annual)
  • Manage DocuSign routing and execution processes in advance of and on filing days
  • Issue calendar invites and coordinate logistics for quarterly close meetings and Audit Committee earnings review calls
  • Assist in preparing draft Audit Committee meeting agendas and supporting materials
  • Set up and maintain Diligent books for Audit Committee meetings and earnings reviews
  • Upload pre-read materials, ensuring formatting consistency and quality control prior to distribution
  • Coordinate timing of pre-read distribution (approximately one week prior to meetings)
  • Assist with year-end documentation and organizational chart support for external audit requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Executive Assistant experience, preferably supporting senior leaders
  • Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Tax, or other corporate functions preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing complex calendars and executive travel
  • Strong proofreading, formatting, and document management skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines with minimal direction
  • High integrity and experience handling sensitive and confidential information

Nice to have

  • Experience using Workiva W-Desk to enable SEC fillings
  • Familiarity with Diligent or other board portal systems
  • Experience supporting Audit Committee or Board processes
  • Bachelor’s degree
