Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Executive – Corporate Accounts & Finance with hands-on experience in GST filings, payroll, MIS reporting, TDS, and Record-to-Report (RTR) processes. The ideal candidate will also be proficient in financial data analysis, especially GSTR-2B analysis for Input Tax Credit (ITC) tracking. Experience in Zoho Books, Zoho Payroll, and statutory compliance is a strong plus.

Job Responsibility

  • GST Compliance: Preparation and timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9
  • Reconciliation of GSTR-2B with purchase registers
  • ensure accurate and optimized ITC claims
  • Handle GST queries, notices, and maintain audit-ready documentation
  • Payroll Management: Complete payroll processing including salary computation, TDS, and statutory filings (PF, ESI, PT)
  • Generate payslips and manage reimbursements, bonuses, and F&F settlements
  • Ensure payroll compliance with applicable laws and timely returns
  • TDS Compliance: Timely deduction and deposit of TDS for vendor payments, salaries, and contract services
  • Filing of TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) and issuing of Form 16 / 16A
  • Maintain TDS ledger, track challans, and ensure reconciliation with Form 26AS
  • MIS Reporting & Data Analysis: Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc MIS reports for leadership
  • Analyze GSTR-2B and vendor data to derive insights on ITC trends and mismatches
  • Present findings and help improve compliance and cost control
  • RTR (Record to Report): End-to-end ownership of financial closing activities including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and ledger reconciliations
  • Monthly and year-end closing support for trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet accuracy
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
  • Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain day-to-day books of accounts using Zoho Books or equivalent ERP
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, track inter-company transactions, and review ledgers regularly
  • Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and working capital monitoring
  • Audit Filing & Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of financial statements for statutory audit
  • Coordinate with auditors for timely submission of required schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and internal controls
  • Transfer Pricing Documentation: Assist in preparation and maintenance of Transfer Pricing Study Reports in line with Income Tax guidelines
  • Coordinate with external consultants for benchmarking analysis and arm’s length price validation
  • Ensure timely submission and audit readiness for transfer pricing documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in core accounting, GST, TDS, payroll, and RTR functions
  • Proficient in Zoho Books, Zoho Payroll, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and Tally (optional)
  • Strong working knowledge of Indian tax laws – GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT
  • Experience with month-end close processes and MIS reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail, compliance-oriented mindset, and good communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience in analyzing GSTR-2B and optimizing ITC claims
  • Exposure to audit procedures, internal controls, and process documentation
  • Familiarity with automation tools or dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Zoho Analytics)
