Job Description:

An exciting role as Exams Officer at a leading secondary school in Thurrock, Essex. Full-time, permanent position with a salary of £30,699-£33,500. Responsible for managing exams, assessments, and data analysis, as well as supporting the wider academic and administrative structure. Plenty of growth opportunities within a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the Deputy Headteacher and Data Manager
  • Establish, maintain and develop school data processes and systems
  • Run academic and pastoral reporting sessions
  • Undertake advanced data analysis
  • Assist with SIMS database tasks
  • Ensure and maintain all administrative aspects of the exam and assessment system
  • Issue entry documentation and timetables to candidates
  • Process and issue results
  • Manage special arrangements and malpractice procedures
  • Coordinate applications and budget management for exams
  • Draw up and distribute exam timetables
  • Analyze student assessment and target data

Requirements:

  • Good written & oral skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills and time management
  • Ideally previous experience within the role in a school or FE environment – (Not essential)
  • Background within Data or SIMS
  • Knowledge of career paths and /or higher education & willingness to learn more
