Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Examinations Team Leader to join our friendly and supportive Exams team. This is a diverse role where you will be building relationships with curriculum and support staff, and many other stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, supervise and support the team to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of all examinations processes across the Group
  • Oversee exam timetables, registrations, entries and certification claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service for both students and staff
  • Play a vital part of maintaining the quality of our exam provision
  • Manage workloads effectively within the Exams team
  • Maintain data accuracy using the College Management Information System (ProSolution)
  • Liaise with Curriculum staff and awarding bodies to resolve queries and ensure compliance
  • Ensure access arrangements and exam sessions are planned and conducted effectively
  • Provide information, training and guidance on exams procedures
  • Building relationships with curriculum and support staff, and many other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • GCSE in English and Maths grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
  • Advanced Level qualifications (e.g two A-Levels, NVQ Level 3, National Diploma/Certificate or equivalent) or higher
  • An IT qualification, e.g CLAIT, ECDL or equivalent is desirable but not essential
  • The ability to accurately input data
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Confident, well organised, and proactive with good IT skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
