Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Examinations Team Leader to join our friendly and supportive Exams team. You will lead, supervise and support the team to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of all examinations processes across the Group. You will oversee exam timetables, registrations, entries and certification claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service for both students and staff. You will play a vital part of maintaining the quality of our exam provision. This is a diverse role where you will be building relationships with curriculum and support staff, and many other stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, supervise and support the team to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of all examinations processes across the Group
  • Oversee exam timetables, registrations, entries and certification claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service for both students and staff
  • Play a vital part of maintaining the quality of our exam provision
  • Manage workloads effectively within the Exams team
  • Maintain data accuracy using the College Management Information System (ProSolution)
  • Liaise with Curriculum staff and awarding bodies to resolve queries and ensure compliance
  • Ensure access arrangements and exam sessions are planned and conducted effectively
  • Provide information, training and guidance on exams procedures

Requirements:

  • GCSE in English and Maths grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent relevant exams experience
  • An IT qualification, e.g CLAIT, ECDL or equivalent is desirable but not essential
  • The ability to accurately input data
  • Excellent administration skills

  • State of Compliance Reporting: Preparing quarterly, in accordance with the approved global format, and in adherence to all established requirements for the State of Compliance reporting. The State of Compliance report will be presented to the appropriate CCC, BRCC and legal entity Board or Board Audit Committee, or other such Board committee required within the jurisdiction.
