Lead and manage the Examinations Team and invigilator workforce, providing support, coaching, and development to ensure high standards of service delivery
Manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of examinations, ensuring processes are compliant, accurate, and efficiently managed across the College
Oversee examination timetables, entries, venues, resources, and results processes to ensure examinations are delivered securely and effectively
Act as the key point of contact for examination-related matters, building effective relationships with curriculum teams, students, awarding organisations, and external stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement by reviewing systems, processes, and performance data to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and service quality
Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments
Requirements
Qualified to GCSE level (or equivalent) including English and Maths, alongside a relevant Level 3 qualification
Experience supervising or coordinating teams within examinations, administrative, or operational environments
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy within fast-paced environments
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach
Good knowledge of examination processes, awarding body requirements, regulations, and the ability to use data, systems, and technology effectively to support service delivery
