Under the general direction and the day-to-day supervision of the Examinations Manager, the post holder assists in ensuring the provision of an effective and efficient Examinations Service.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of the Examinations Office
Prepare, check, and input examination information into the College Management Information System
Register students, make exam entries and claim achievements for a wide range of awarding bodies
Schedule, prepare and oversee examinations
Organise onward dispatch of scripts and attendance sheets as directed by the awarding bodies
Assist in the development and maintenance of internal examination procedures and processes
Participate in invigilation of exams and on-line assessments as required adhering to JCQ regulations as all times
Assist in the digital upload of exams process
Participate in the provision of data in response to queries, in person and on the telephone, whilst adhering at all times to the Data Protection Act
Undertake routine clerical work including word processing, photocopying and filing
Assist in the production of reports, statistics, statements, statutory returns and other documentation as required by the Principal, College Management, the Corporation, Government Departments and other external agencies
Requirements:
3 GCSEs (Grade C or above) including English and Maths
