Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students and staff
A calm and professional demeanour, even in high-pressure situations
Previous experience in an educational setting or as an invigilator is an advantage but not essential
Availability during exam periods, including weekends and holidays, as needed
A flexible approach to work hours, as shifts may vary

Job Responsibility

Supervise students during examinations to ensure compliance with exam regulations
Distribute and collect exam papers and materials in an organised manner
Monitor student behaviour to prevent any form of cheating or disruption
Ensure that all examination conditions are met and maintained
Provide assistance to students as needed while adhering to exam protocols
Report any issues or incidents to the supervising authority promptly
Prepare the examination room prior to the exam, ensuring a clean and organised environment

Job Responsibility

Preparing the examination room, ensuring that tables are set out correctly, clocks are set at the correct time, basic equipment and water are available
Admitting candidates to the room in a quiet and orderly fashion, ensuring that they sit in the correct place as specified on the seating plan
Ensuring that candidates have the correct examination paper and relevant equipment
Conducting the examination according to the Examination guidelines and informing the lead invigilator and/or Examinations Officer of any misconduct or problems
Monitoring the conduct of the examination by being constantly vigilant and not doing any other task
Collecting in papers and equipment at the end of the examination and helping to sort them ready for dispatch to the Examinations board
