Job Description:

Robert Half is currently sourcing Proctors available February 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th to assist onsite in San Francisco, CA. No prior proctoring experience is required; however, you must be available 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM each day (Monday–Friday).

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct thorough inspection of admittance documentation to ensure only authorized individuals are admitted
  • Inspect for prohibited items prior to entry into exam rooms
  • Direct examinees to assigned seating
  • Assist with administration of examinations
  • Maintain security of examination materials at all times
  • Distribute, collect, and account for exam materials
  • Complete required examination-related documentation
  • Monitor examinees throughout the examination period

Requirements:

  • Ability to work 10–12 hours per day for consecutive days
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions precisely
  • Ability to accept instruction and correction from supervising staff
  • Knowledge of basic vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic
  • Strong communication skills with professional and courteous demeanor
  • Flexibility in the event of assignment changes
  • Ability to move quickly and quietly throughout assigned test areas
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to remain alert and attentive during extended periods of silence
  • Must be in good health and able to stand and walk for up to 75% of the day
  • Cannot be a law clerk, law student, paralegal, or admitted attorney in any jurisdiction

  • Provides detailed information to examinees regarding available tests including test dates, location, deadlines, and fees

  • Provides proctoring services in support of faculty, student and disability services in the testing center
