Job Description:

Paignton Academy is seeking a confident, reliable, and professional individual to join our exams team as an Exam Invigilator, supporting the delivery of examinations in line with national and school-based requirements. The successful candidate will ensure examinations are conducted in strict accordance with: JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) regulations; Awarding body requirements; Internal school procedures. This role offers flexible, casual work during key examination periods and is ideal for individuals seeking term-time opportunities within a supportive school environment. Full training will be provided.

Job Responsibility:

Maintaining the integrity, security, and confidentiality of the examination process
Supervising students during examinations to ensure a calm, orderly, and compliant environment
Following all instructions, guidance, and protocols provided by the school and examination boards

Requirements:

Punctual, professional, and highly attentive to detail
Able to remain calm under pressure and manage a quiet examination setting
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
