Job Description:

We’re looking for reliable Exam Invigilators to join our team at Plympton Academy and help support our busy exam periods. This is an important role where you will help create a calm and supportive environment that allows students to do their best.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help set up exam rooms
  • Check exam packs
  • Support students as they arrive
  • Supervise during exams
  • Check attendance
  • Record details
  • Help create a calm and supportive environment for students

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deal with matters calmly, swiftly and firmly without being confrontational
  • Previous experience working with secondary school age children is a distinct advantage
  • Previous supervision experience is a distinct advantage
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality inside and outside the workplace
  • Ability to support Academy ethos and vision into the wide community

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in working with secondary school age children
