EVS Specialist Facilities Manager

• Oversee daily cleaning, sanitation, and waste management activities across all hospital units, patient rooms, operating areas, and common spaces
• Ensure department meets all regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission, OSHA, and state health department standards
• Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and opportunities for professional development
• Conduct routine inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent quality
• Maintain accurate documentation of cleaning procedures, incident reports, and compliance records
• Respond promptly to requests for environmental services, ensuring patient needs are met with empathy and professionalism
• Participate in patient experience initiatives related to cleanliness and safety
• Manage EVS supply inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
• Maintain departmental budget, track expenses, and explore cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained, repaired, and replaced as needed

• 3–5+ years of supervisory experience in environmental services, hospitality, healthcare, or a related field
• hospital experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention standards, cleaning methodologies, and hospital safety requirements
• Must commit to the 3-month contract
• Must pass a background check and health screening
