Job Description

As our Environmental Services Aide, you will provide critical environmental services and meticulous attention to cleanliness, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.Every day you will expertly clean and disinfect patient rooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces, manage waste disposal, operate specialized equipment, and meticulously follow infection control protocols to maintain impeccable standards.To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a dependable, conscientious demeanor, contributing significantly to a healthy and comfortable facility environment

Job Responsibility

  • Provide critical environmental services and meticulous attention to cleanliness, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors
  • Expertly clean and disinfect patient rooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces, manage waste disposal, operate specialized equipment, and meticulously follow infection control protocols
  • Demonstrate ability to assess/interpret age specific data
  • Encourage involvement of patient/family/significant other in decision making related to plan of care
  • Perform cleaning and/or isolation procedures of patient care areas
  • prepare room for new occupants and follow standards precautions
  • Perform cleaning of non patient care areas
  • Dust furniture, woodwork, equipment and dust mops, wet mops, and vacuum floors
  • Complete high dusting of all ceiling objects, wall objects and horizontal surfaces following departmental procedures
  • Collect and dispose of trash and linen
  • reline containers and ensure cleanliness of containers
