Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Events Team Leader to join our team. This hands-on role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about executing flawless events. You will ensure that all aspects of event setup, execution, and breakdown are carried out smoothly. Your ability to solve problems quickly, communicate effectively, and lead by example will be crucial in delivering exceptional event experiences.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate and oversee physical setup of event spaces
  • Ensure equipment is working and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Manage and direct event staff and external contractors
  • Monitor event progress and adjust plans
  • Serve as main point of contact for clients and guests
  • Address and resolve issues promptly
  • Assist in managing guest flow and crowd control
  • Collaborate with Events team for timely delivery of materials
  • Maintain communication with kitchen, bar, and service teams
  • Oversee inventory of event supplies
  • Enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • Conduct pre-event safety checks and briefings
  • Coordinate breakdown and cleanup of event space
  • Assist in post-event debriefing
  • Compile reports on event performance

  • Liaise with other key personal, including, events and sales department to deliver service that meets and exceeds client’s expectations
  • Brief the events team on all aspects of the business and to oversee the running of all events, workings lunches and dining
  • Meet clients on arrival making sure that the event is as they require and ensuring that any on the day changes are passed on to the relevant people where necessary
  • Train or provide training to the staff to ensure they operate in accordance with Benugo standards
  • Liaise with key people in all necessary areas (kitchen, events, reception, etc…) of the business to ensure the provision of food and service is consistent and in line with menu/standards pre-agreed
  • Monitor that all staff present themselves correctly dressed for duty and are well groomed whilst on duty
  • Responsible in monitoring staff time sheets are filled correctly
  • Deputize for the manager in his/her absence
