Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for a welcoming and friendly Events Supervisor to join our Green & Fortune team. This is a Monday to Friday role. At Green & Fortune, hospitality is at the heart of what we do. Since 2008, we’ve grown into an award-winning independent company, delivering high-quality food, personal service, and memorable experiences across retail and events. We operate five iconic London venues: Kings Place in Kings Cross, Sea Containers, Rose Court, One Southwark Bridge, and Central Hall in Westminster.

Requirements

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the events business and serve as the first point of contact on event days
  • To support the management in preparing and setting up buffets and/or other special food service tables/stations
  • Ensuring that food is always handled, transported, and stored in accordance with food safety and Health and Safety standards
  • Meet and greet organizers in a friendly and polite manner while providing a high level of service at all times
  • Acknowledge and respond to all guest requests and inquiries, taking responsibility or escalating to the Events Ops Manager or Assistant Events Ops Manager as appropriate
  • Supervise all service and buffet stations, ensuring they are neat, clean, and efficiently managed during service. Regularly patrol assigned areas and ensure staff duties are completed
  • Provide feedback and handover on all events, including any relevant information for the next shift, such as issues, challenges, positive outcomes, and changes in business
  • Assist with the training and supervising of new starters to ensure they are fully prepared for their roles
  • Follow all due diligence procedures regarding food safety, health and safety, accident reporting, fire alarms, cleaning schedules, stock control, pest control, and general maintenance
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is required
