The role holder will manage a range of in person and virtual events that will host attendees from across the companies community but with specific focus on our High Net Worth clients. The role holder will support the delivery, and in some instances take full responsibility for the planning and delivery of a number of the events in the event calendar.
Job Responsibility:
Design and project planning for events
Event management - oversight of running events, supplier management, and issue resolution
Oversee event support and manage temporary event staff
Negotiation and contracting with venues and suppliers
Supplier management to deliver services and products
Production oversight to ensure event quality
Communication and literature creation with content team and stakeholders
Budget management including preparation, review, and reconciliation
Reporting on budget and event progress
Assist with one-off projects as directed
Requirements:
Proven experience delivering high-quality in-person and virtual events end-to-end
Strong project planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Demonstrable experience managing event budgets, including forecasting, reconciliation and financial reporting
Experience negotiating and managing suppliers and venues, working collaboratively with Procurement
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build effective working relationships internally and externally
Nice to have:
Understanding of company's structure, strategy and decision-making protocols
Knowledge of High Net Worth client segment and experience delivering events that meet their interests, expectations, and preferences
Experience contributing to risk registers and operating within regulated or governance-led environments
Experience managing temporary staff or supporting wider delivery teams on-site
Experience supporting recruitment or client-facing events
