Events Specialist position at Sheraton Phoenix Downtown responsible for coordinating banquet events, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining company standards for safety and service quality.

Job Responsibility:

  • Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions and make introductions
  • Read and analyze banquet event orders to determine setup and guest needs
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
  • Follow up on special arrangements to ensure compliance
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Maintain professional uniform and appearance
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards

Requirements:

  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
