Job Description:

Events Specialist position at JW Marriott New Orleans focused on banquet and event coordination, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with company standards while delivering thoughtful, heartfelt service.

Job Responsibility:

Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions
Read and analyze banquet event order
Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
Follow up on special banquet event arrangements
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Read and visually verify information in various formats
Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience required
No license or certification required
