Our client is seeking and Events Services Coordinator to join their team in Anaheim! Collaborate closely with catering and convention services teams to develop AV estimates, create ground plans, and schedule both cast members and external labor for special events held throughout the resort’s meeting and event venues. Partner with facility and design teams to define project scope and support the design and implementation of background music systems, entertainment venues, and performance spaces.
Job Responsibility:
Create AV estimates based on client and catering sales inputs
Interpret and work from ground plans and schematics
Coordinate staffing for events, including internal cast and external labor
Partner with cross-functional teams (catering, facilities, design)
Support project scope development and execution for event spaces
Assist with scheduling and logistics for conventions and special events
Utilize basic accounting principles for tracking and coordination
Requirements:
Ability to create AV estimates from provided event details
Ability to read and interpret ground plans and schematics
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Basic accounting knowledge
Familiarity with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and pre-convention planning
Experience generating ground plans and schematics
Ability to write project justifications and scope documentation
