Job Description:

We are looking for an Events & Public Engagement Coordinator to join Fundação EDP and play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering events within both museum and corporate contexts. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional passionate about creating enriching and innovative experiences for diverse audiences, ensuring operational excellence and actively contributing to the development of impactful cultural programming.

Job Responsibility:

  • Event Production and Logistics: Planning, organization, and execution of events in museum and corporate contexts, including activities aimed at different audiences (children, adults, and art-focused publics)
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordination of all stakeholders involved in events, including artists, speakers, mediators, and other collaborators
  • Event Planning and Monitoring: Development of detailed plans for each event, including timelines, requirements mapping, and definition of contingency procedures
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Execution of evaluation processes based on feedback from participants and the team.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Event Management, Communication, Cultural Management, Public Relations, or similar fields
  • Professional experience in event production, preferably within cultural contexts such as museums, galleries, or artistic institutions (nice to have)
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively coordinate different stakeholders
  • Basic technical knowledge of audiovisual equipment and logistical requirements for events
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Ability to manage unexpected situations and resolve issues efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
