Be fully accountable for the projects under your direction and work with the Events Leader, Sales Team and the customer to ensure that the event brief and budget are fully understood to deliver creative and logistically sound solutions
Ensure correct skill sets required for the project are being met within the project team
Ability to brief in every department on a project - technical, creative, venues, entertainment, group travel etc
Maintain accurate files, budgets and critical paths in order to adhere to deadlines and budgets with an emphasis on attrition and cancellation deadlines, as per signed contracts across all projects under your leadership
Ability to develop and manage existing customer relationships for consistent and repeat business opportunities
Support workflow and resource management across all projects and within the greater team
Mentoring & training team members in FCM Meeting & Events policy, systems, processes and platforms
Requirements
Proven track record in effective leadership and experience in training and mentoring team members
A minimum of 6 years demonstrated experience in project management within the event management and production industry
Demonstrated effective customer service skills
A knowledge of all major suppliers and relevant MICE products and destinations
Knowledge of project management processes, standards and procedures
