Our client, a highly respected professional membership organisation, is seeking an experienced Events Manager to join its established team on a 3-month temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on events professional to make an immediate impact, leading the delivery of a busy programme of national and regional events during an important period for the organisation. Job Responsibility

  • Take responsibility for the planning and delivery of a varied programme of in-person and virtual events, including regional forums, networking events, dinners, technical briefings, and member engagement activities
  • Quickly get up to speed, confidently manage multiple priorities, and work effectively with internal stakeholders, committees, sponsors, and suppliers to ensure events are delivered to the highest standards
  • Play a key role in delivering a number of high-profile events taking place throughout the summer and autumn, while also supporting planning activity for future events

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior events management role delivering a varied programme of events within a membership organisation, professional body, association, or similar environment
  • Strong experience managing both face-to-face and virtual events
  • Demonstrable budget management and financial reporting experience
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience using CRM systems, event management platforms, and reporting tools
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Available to start at short notice or immediately
