We're looking for an Events Manager to own and scale the Arize event experience—from flagship conferences like Observe to high-impact community and brand experiences across the Bay Area and beyond. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of operations, creativity, and community building.
Job Responsibility:
Lead Arize's Event Strategy
Plan and execute Arize's flagship events, including Observe, our AI engineering conference
Own the full lifecycle of corporate and branded events—from concept to execution to post-event analysis
Build Memorable Brand Experiences
Design and run brand experience events across the Bay Area
Create experiences that resonate with AI engineers, developers, and technical leaders
Execute High-Impact Events
Manage event logistics including venue selection, vendors, budgets, timelines, and operations
Partner closely with marketing, developer relations, product, and leadership teams
Ensure events are executed seamlessly and at a high bar of quality
Grow the AI Community
Help build the Arize community through meetups, developer events, and workshops
Develop programming that engages AI builders
Measure and Improve
Track event performance and outcomes
Use data and feedback to continuously improve the Arize event experience
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, or community events
Proven experience planning corporate, conference, or large-scale events
Experience building events for developers, AI audiences, or technical communities
Exceptional organizational and project management skills
A world-class communicator who can collaborate across teams and stakeholders
A creative and out-of-the-box thinker who can design memorable brand experiences
Ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area
Nice to have:
Experience running developer conferences or meetups
Background in AI, ML, data, or developer ecosystems
Experience managing sponsors, speakers, and technical programming
