Job Description:

Join an award-winning Northeast Charity as an Events Lead. Are you a dynamic planner who thrives on creating unforgettable experiences? Do you have the creativity to think outside the box and design engaging events? In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing, planning, developing, and delivering events to raise funds and increase awareness.

Job Responsibility:

  • To develop events strategy that aligns with charity objectives and considers industry trends
  • To plan and lead a successful events programme that maximises fundraising and awareness opportunities
  • To manage and co-ordinate events. Ensuring first class supporter care
  • Work collaboratively with fundraising and marketing to deliver against plans to target
  • Build relationships with external stakeholders
  • Be responsible for events budget and delivering against targets
  • Oversee setting, monitoring, and optimizing internal systems and processes relating to events
  • Support members of the public and 3rd party event organisers who host events and fundraising in aid of the charity (attending where necessary)
  • Maximise income and awareness potential of HQ by managing room bookings and delivering events
  • Oversee and coordinate staff and volunteer representation and responsibilities at events
  • Lead on exploring new opportunities to grow and enhance the events programme and increase income and awareness
  • To produce reports on events in line with KPI’s and objectives and to support future activity

  • Efficiently manage your portfolio of events, SSI being characterized by a high volume of events happening simultaneously
  • Develop and manage event production budgets, optimizing resources to achieve strategic goals, identifying revenue generating opportunities and cost-saving measures
  • Manage a team of local producers, providing guidance and support, acting as a dedicated lead and support for all things production related
