The Events & Experiences Assistant Manager at Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo is a highly creative, detail-oriented, and visionary professional passionate about designing extraordinary celebrations and memorable moments. This role goes beyond event coordination—it focuses on curating exceptional experiences through décor, ambiance, styling, personalized details, and flawless execution. Job Responsibility
Lead the creative design and execution of social and corporate events, ensuring every detail reflects the client's vision and the Four Seasons luxury experience
Develop innovative event concepts, including themes, décor, floral arrangements, lighting, table settings, entertainment, and personalized guest experiences
Coordinate event styling, installations, and all decorative elements to create unforgettable moments and visually stunning environments
Collaborate with clients to understand their dreams, preferences, and expectations, transforming ideas into unique experiences
Create mood boards, presentations, inspiration proposals, and design concepts for weddings, celebrations, corporate events, and special occasions
Partner with culinary, banquet, housekeeping, engineering, spa, and recreation teams to deliver seamless and immersive experiences
Manage relationships with florists, decorators, entertainers, production companies, lighting vendors, and other external partners
Oversee event set-up and styling on-site, ensuring all decorative details are executed flawlessly and according to plan
Identify opportunities to elevate guest experiences through creative enhancements and upselling opportunities
Ensure budgets, timelines, and operational standards are met while maximizing guest satisfaction and profitability
Remain current with global luxury event trends, design styles, décor innovations, and experiential hospitality concepts
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Interior Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field
2-3 years of experience in luxury events, weddings, hospitality, event design, styling, or conference services
Passion for décor, aesthetics, details, and creating magical experiences
Strong knowledge of event styling, floral design, table settings, lighting concepts, and current luxury trends
Exceptional creativity and artistic vision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to inspire teams and collaborate effectively across departments
Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in Mexico
